Planning and Community Development Director Position
The City of Bondurant, Iowa is accepting resumes until 4:30 p.m. on September 3rd, 2019 for the position of Planning and Community Development Director. Salary range from $64,000 to $72,000.
Utility Bill Date Changes
For the last several years The City of Bondurant has billed approximately six to eight weeks in arrears for utilities (water, sewer and storm). As part of our conversion to a new utilities software program, we need to change this process to shorten the amount of time between when utilities are read and the bill is generated.
2nd Street North Functional Design Study
2nd Street N is the only east-west street spanning the width of the community and is found in the northern portion of Bondurant's corporate limits. The City has seen continual development including educational, residential and commercial uses. This study is the start of identifying the needed improvements to this corridor to improve traffic flow and control access. This was presented by Veenstra & Kimm, Inc. at April 1, 2019, City Council meeting.
Improving stormwater flow through the City

Damages were discovered over the weekend (5-3-19 to 5-5-19) at the Bondurant City Park and BRSC concession stands. Toilet paper was lit on fire. Park benches were sprayed with graffiti. Windows were broken. Restrooms were left a mess. Trash slued around the basketball courts. The city public parks are intended for everyone’s use and continued vandalism may result in closing the facilities – See Something Say Something.
