The Live Healthy Iowa 5K event includes a timed 5K run/walk and a 1K kid’s run that will take place on Saturday, April 13, 2024.
Race start/finish:
The Bondurant Regional Trailhead on Main Street (2 Main Street NE, Bondurant), on the east side of the Emergency Services Building. View the route details.

Early registration - (January 8 - March 25) - $25
Late registration - (through April 7) ONLINE ONLY $30
- LHI 10 Week Wellness participants receive a $10 discount on registration.
- Registration fee includes: T-shirt, race number, finisher medal, post-race refreshments, opportunity to win door prizes

Packet pickup/On-site registration:
Early packet pickup will be Friday, April 13, from 4:00-7:00 pm at City Hall (200 2nd Street NE).
The day of event pickup will be Saturday, April 13, from 7:00-7:45 am at the Bondurant Regional Trailhead (2 Main Street SE)
Event History:
The Live Healthy Iowa 5K events were created in 2013 as an opportunity to connect with Iowans locally, support community wellness efforts, and celebrate the completion of the 10-Week Wellness Challenge. The inaugural year garnered 1,838 participants in 10 Iowa communities. In 2019, 18 communities partnered to offer a local race event. COVID-19 has had a significant impact on the event in recent years with the 2020 races being canceled and 11 communities hosting in 2021. But 2022 had a strong comeback with 13 race sites.
