The City of Bondurant, Iowa is accepting resumes until 9:00 a.m. on June 22, 2020, for the position of Public Works Operations Specialist. Salary range is $40,841, to $55,959, hiring wage is anticipated to
be no more than $45,000. This position will be appointed by the Public Works Director. The position is under general to direct supervision of the Public Works Director and performs manual labor, semi‐skilled and skilled work often involving the operation of light to heavy‐duty construction and maintenance equipment. Employee must show fundamental knowledge of how to use the machinery
and the general ability to follow instructions. A High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required, as well as the ability to pass a post‐offer employment physical and a CDL‐required drug screen. CDL required within 30 days of employment. Three years of light and medium construction equipment operations, or two years in a mechanical position is required. Two years of college education in a field dealing with Public Works’ tasks. Must have a good driving record for the past three years. Full job description by clicking here. The City of Bondurant is seeking a Board of Adjustments Member to take over a 5-year term vacancy with 2.5 years left in the term. There is no compensation for this position. The new member must be a resident of Bondurant and provide qualifying knowledge or experience to act in matters pertaining to the development of the City plan and who shall not hold any elective office in the City government.
