Furry Friends Belong Indoors or on a Leash

Outdoor Cats

There have been reports of outdoor cats in the Bondurant community.

Our furry buddies should be leashed if strolling outdoors.

To better protect your furry friend and others keep them indoors (ecspecially with the colder temperatures) or on a leash.

Some furry companions like the fresh air that the outdoors may provide, but there is a potential for parasites that could enter people’s homes.

They could become a bother to certain homeowners, for example, walking on cars, going potty in people’s yards or gardens, could injure or kill other animals, or even dig in someone’s yard.

If the animal is not spayed or neutered, this can contribute to the overpopulation of cats.

Let’s keep our community safe. No outdoor felines. Find more details on the City’s website https://www.cityofbondurant.com/home/news/animals-running-large
