Shelter Reservations

Below click each reservation on the calendar on the date which you are seeking to reserve. Each entry on the calendar is a current reservation, and only one reservation is allowed per time slot.

STEP 1:  Determine your rental fee. The reservation fee is $25 for residents or $35 for non-residents per 2 hours increments maxing at $100.  Calculate your rental fee before submitting the reservation form.

STEP 2:  Determine if you are a resident or non-resident. A resident is defined as living within city limits.

STEP 3:  Determine availability. Shelter reservations are allowed from April through the end of October. Park shelters may only be reserved by one person or party at a time, so reservations depend on availability. View the public calendar above for availability before submitting the reservation form. The calendar shows active reservations, so if there is something on the calendar, open it to view the times the shelter is reserved before requesting the same date.

STEP 4:  Understand your responsibilities when you rent the park shelter.

  • A cleanup checklist and shelter rental responsibility form will be emailed, which also serves as your rental confirmation. Please check your spam folder before calling with questions or concerns.
  • Refunds will not be given in the event of cancelation or inclement weather.
  • Shelter reservation only reserves the actual shelter; all other park amenities, including restrooms, are open to the public.
  • The reservation form must be submitted with your reservation fee to City Hall before securing the requested date.
  • Park shelters may also be used as "first-come, first-serve" without reservation. "First-come, first-serve" means that availability is not guaranteed, so if someone else is using the shelter, please be respectful of the other person(s) or party.
