Crosswalk Replacement at the Intersection of First St SE and Main St SE
Project Description:
First St. SE will be closed to thru traffic for the replacement of the Decorative Concrete Crosswalks. This closure is expected to be approximately 3 days while crosswalk replacement and street repair work are performed.
This is Phase One (1) of the project to repair and replace the existing decorative crosswalks in the downtown district.
Phase Two (2) is scheduled to begin on August 3rd and take 3 days as well.
Please note this work will be confined to the crosswalk area only. The businesses in the downtown area will still be accessible.
Residents and motorists are urged to please adhere to the signage and barricades while the work is being completed.

Project Status:
July 27, 2020
Phase One is projected to begin Wednesday, July 29th, 2020 (weather permitting). This closure is expected to be approximately 3 days while crosswalk replacement and street repair work are performed.
August 6, 2020
Due to weather, Phase Two is projected to be complete by Saturday, August 8.
