The City of Bondurant staff is here to serve you, even during the national pandemic of 2020!

Renovations at City Hall are moving quickly, and our municipal facility may have a different look and feel when the office opens again.

  • Business hours are Mon-Fri 8 AM-4:30 PM – staff is available to take your call during business hours and are available via email.
  • Our city website has had many updates to make it most convenient for all residents. You can make your water bill payment, track your usage, and set up an auto-payment or e-billing all online!
  • You are also able to obtain all permit applications online and email them to the building department or administrative staff that can easily process the application for you. Permit fees can be made on the city website through the city’s payment processor.
  • Yard Waste season is upon us and while the city hall facility is closed, you are able to purchase yard waste, extra trash, and large item stickers at local Walgreens or Hy-Vee – please check the Metro Waste Authority website for further information before traveling to purchase stickers.
  • Also, yard waste bags are for sale at local hardware and grocery stores – check if they require a sticker or not (some do, and some do not).
  • Late Night Fishing is allowed at this time without prior approval by city staff.
  • The cardboard disposal receptacle has temporarily been placed in the east City Hall parking lot for patron accessibility during this time. 
  • Mobile Food Vending permit applications can be found on our website and submitted electronically, which any permit fees can be paid online through the city’s payment processor.
  • At this time, peddlers, solicitors, pushcart operators, and transient merchants are not allowed per the state government's orders.
  • Playground and Shelter rentals remain closed until further notice. Staff is hoping to have re-opening information available soon, so please watch for updates!

All citizens are encouraged to take extra safety precautions during this time.
