Public Hearing on Proposed Tax Levy

There will be a public hearing on the Proposed Property Tax Levy on April 1st at 5:45 p.m. in City Council Chambers at 200 Second Street NE.  Below is the Notice of Public Hearing.

Below is a graph showing the trajectory of the City's assessed value for median-valued home (blue line) and calculated city property taxes on that median-valued home over the past six years. While property values have risen by nearly 43%, calculated City of Bondurant property taxes have fallen by nearly 8%, due to the ongoing focus of the Mayor and City Council on efficiency and economic development efforts. Please do not hesitate to reach out to the City Administrator or City Finance and Employee Services Director with any questions about the budget.
