Bondurant's Frosty Faire: Winter Bondurant Farmer's Market

In Downtown Bondurant, Iowa there will be a variety of Bondurant Farmer's Market booths selling baked goods, crafted items, and more. Find them located inside a variety of downtown businesses: KaleidoHope Learning and Resource Center, Reclaimed Rails Brewing Company, Home Slice Handmade Pies, and Little House on Main. NEW this year, they will be set up at the Bondurant Christian Church. 

Rockin' Santa will join us from 1:30 to 3:00 PM.

Melodies of the Season: Bondurant-Farrar Choir Fest

The Bondurant-Farrar Choir students from 6th grade to 12th grade will be singing in shifts located on the patio of the KaleidoHope Learning and Resource Center.

Journey through Bondurant: Plume Hill's 4th Annual Carriage Ride

This is the 4th year that the Plume Hill Carriage has offered rides in Bondurant. Their fancy hoofed friends bring the holiday spirit alive in a brisk stroll through Bondurant, Iowa enjoying the views.

Winter Wonderland Whimsy: Reindeer Treats & Holiday Refreshments

Fill up on some holiday treats while waiting for the Horse Drawn Carriage or while embarking on your journey through Bondurant.

Girl Scout Troop 1252 will be fundraising. They will be selling hot cocoa, peppermint cappuccino, bottled water, and a variety of baked goods at the trailhead. They will also be a the Bondurant Christian Church, so make sure to stop by the reindeer food bar to make a special treat for Santa's reindeer - they are often forgotten about on Christmas Eve. The Girl Scouts has a special recipe for you to try out. Another table at the church will include one-of-a-kind whimsical ornament-making kits! You can make it with their assistance or take n' make at home. The whimsical ornaments would make a sweet holiday gift for your special someone!  

Proceeds will support the Animal Rescue League and a friend at the Altoona Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Santa Social: Crafts, Cocoa, and Cozy Snacks

Join us for a heartwarming holiday experience at the Bondurant Community Library! While anticipation builds for the Merry & Bright Parade, we invite you to embrace the festive spirit with our Youth Crafts, warm, and sweet Refreshments. Step inside the cozy library, where our talented Bondurant Librarians will guide kids of all ages through a world of creative possibilities. Unleash your imagination and craft one-of-a-kind holiday keepsakes that will warm your heart (FREE EVENT). Join us for a day of youthful creativity, warmth, and the joy of giving back this holiday season. It's an event the whole family will cherish and one that embodies the true spirit of Christmas.

Santa will be there taking holiday wishes! Photo’s by Ben will be taking individual photographs for all Santa visitors. New this year, they will be offering out one single-printed 5x7 image to cherish as your holiday memories unfold.
Starting promptly at 4:30 PM, take the family outside to join in the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony accompanied by the Federated Church Choir singing Christmas Carols.

Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony: Christmas Carols and State of the City

Bring the family to our community holiday tree outside of the Bondurant Community Library, enjoy a Christmas Carol sing-a-long with the Federated Church Choir, and listen to the state of the city.

Merry & Bright Parade: Lighted Parade

The 8th Annual Merry & Bright Parade is a community-grown tradition. This is a family-friendly, kids-appropriate parade to kick off the holiday season for you, your family, and your friends. This is a night parade, and this is a candy-free event due to darkness. Bundle warm and enjoy the floats in the downtown Bondurant District!

Taste of Togetherness: Community Dinner

Experience the essence of community at Kaleidohope immediately following the parade. Be Church invites you to a heartwarming dinner featuring an array of soul-nourishing soups and chilis. This event is a celebration of unity, friendship, and the simple joy of breaking bread together. Father Christmas will be taking holiday wishes, so bring the kiddos and bring your cameras.
