Economic Development Policy

The City of Bondurant will provide economic participation in projects as deemed appropriate by the City Council. The consideration of economic participation is project specific and driven by a number of factors. Some of the most important factors are detailed in the following list, however, the following list is not all inclusive.

1. Taxable value creation;
2. Sales Tax Generation;
3. Amenity creation/community needs fulfillment;
4. Level of ongoing operational impact/city services required;
5. Job Creation;
6. Long-term land use impact;
7. Unique site circumstances (environmental, geographic, topographic, etc.) and
8. Probability of generating additional development.
