Mosquito Spraying Begins This Week

The City of Bondurant's seasonal mosquito control program will begin this week and continue throughout the summer months as weather conditions permit.

Mosquito spraying is conducted to help reduce mosquito populations and improve outdoor comfort for residents. Applications are typically performed during evening hours when conditions are favorable for effective treatment.

Residents can help support mosquito control efforts by eliminating standing water around their homes and properties. Common breeding areas include buckets, bird baths, flowerpots, children's toys, clogged gutters, and other containers that collect water.
