House Moving from Lincoln St. NE to Mulberry Dr. NW
April 27, 2026 - On Tuesday April 28th from 10 am to 1 pm there will be a house being moved from its current location at 601 Lincoln St. NE to 324 13th St. NW.
In preparation for this house to be moved crews from Mid-American Energy will be deenergizing and laying street light poles along 6th St. NE and possibly 13th St. NW to make room for the house to be moved. Also, Public works crews for the City of Bondurant will be placing temporary No-Parking signage along the route. Residents are asked to please not leave vehicles in the street or near the sidewalk along this route to avoid delays and possible towing of vehicles.
If vehicles are left in the way the city will have no choice but to have the vehicle towed to make room for this house to move.
The house move is anticipated to only take a couple of hours so the city urges residents to help how they can so that delays are not caused due to parked cars or other obstacles. There will be escort vehicles and City of Bondurant Public Works teams to divert traffic as the house is being moved.
The city asks all residents and motorists to please be patient when traveling in this area and to please not block the route as a spectator (see route graphic). There will be photos and video updates posted to the City of Bondurant website construction page.
