Megan S, Youth Services Librarian

Megan Schincke

Megan began working at the Bondurant Community Library in December 2019 as a Library Clerk II.  In the spring of 2020, she accepted the position of Youth Services Librarian. In this position, Megan is responsible for all programming for children in grades 3 through 12.

Prior to coming to the library as a staff member, Megan worked as a Paraprofessional in the Special Education Department at the Bondurant-Farrar Middle School. Reading and helping others find a love for reading is and always has been a huge part of Megan's life. Megan is a certified Mental Health First Aid responder and has put much focus and time into creating a fun and safe environment for the youth of Bondurant at the Library. Creating quality programming for youth that helps foster a love of the Library is Megan's passion!

In her spare time, Megan loves to spend time with her family, read (of course), learn new things, write poetry, crochet, cook, and travel often (especially to the mountains). She always appreciates any suggestions for program ideas in the future.
