Carly S, Children's Librarian

Carly began working at the Bondurant Community Library in January of 2024. Her work in her position includes weekly Story Times as well as outreach services to various daycare centers within Bondurant. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Northern Iowa and a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Iowa.

Carly is passionate about childhood literacy and early-childhood socialization. Though she did not spend time in libraries when she was a child, her goal is to connect with children who may not know the incredible services that exist within the library and bolster the upcoming generations with a love for reading and imagination.

When she’s not at the library, Carly enjoys reading, playing board games with her family, and spending quality time with her husband and dogs.
