“The Hoovers and Mining” explores the role Herbert and Lou Henry Hoover played in the mining industry, including their translation of a book in Latin cataloging the state of the art of mining, refining, and smelting metals, published in 1556.
About the Speaker: Elizabeth Dinchel is the director of the National Mining Hall of Fame in Colorado. She was previously the education archivist at the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum and has a vast knowledge of both subjects
