Rec -N- Roll Trailer

Connecting our community one neighborhood at a time! #lifeconnecting

Bondurant was thrilled to partner with the Bondurant Chamber of Commerce which secured a grant through Prairies Meadows and Polk County, which provided a Community Betterment Grant and Amazon DSM5 to launch the Rec-N-Roll Traile in late fall of 2022. The Rec-N-Roll Trailer program connects our community.... one neighborhood at a time! #lifeconnecting

The Rec -N- Roll Trailer program was created to build community within the City of Bondurant by bringing people within its neighborhoods together and providing a one-stop shop for a block party or community gathering.

The Rec -N- Roll Trailer program is a collaborative effort involving staff and resources from multiple City and Civic organizations, including Parks and Recreation, Public Works, and the Chamber of Commerce, along with partnerships will Prairie Meadows Casino and Racetrack, Polk County, and Amazon's DSM5 Facility.

One of the reasons Bondurant is an attractive place to live is its strong and connected neighborhoods. Block parties in the Bondurant community have grown in numbers throughout the years, which is a great opportunity for neighbors to interact and welcome new residents. Neighborhood block parties and community events strengthen relationships within and among neighborhoods and help Bondurant be a more welcoming and inclusive community.

All you need to throw a great party!

The Rec -N- Roll Trailer makes it easy for neighbors to get together and is available free of charge to Bondurant residents or businesses (defined as living or having a physical location within city limits). The Rec -N- Roll Trailer may only be reserved by one person or party at a time, so reservations depend on availability (view the reservation calendar listed below for availability).

Facilities and programs through the Bondurant Parks and Recreation are offered on a nondiscriminatory basis.
