Michell, Assistant Director

Michell

Michell began working at the Bondurant Community Library in 2016 as the Adult Services Librarian.  In 2017, she also took on the Youth Services Librarian position and was responsible for programming for children in grades 3 and up as well as for adults.  Then in 2019, she became the Assistant Director of the library.  Prior to coming to the library as a staff member, Michell served on the Library Board of Trustees for almost 20 years.  Libraries have been a huge part of her world for most of her life—the Bondurant Community Library for over 25 of those years.  Michell received her undergraduate degree in English from Iowa State University and earned her Master’s degree in Adult Learning and Organizational Performance from Drake University.  Her background is in education as well as academic advising.  In her spare time, Michell loves to read (of course!), cook, be outdoors, and spend time with her family.
