On Saturday, October 1st approximately fifty people came out to enjoy the new Lake Petocka Park playground. The ribbon cutting ceremony was a huge success for all who attended. Lunch was provided for everyone as they celebrated a new Bondurant attraction and the beautiful weather. Along with the playground, a sign was installed showing that funding was provided by Prairie Meadows. The total cost of the project was around $40,000. Prairie Meadows furnished $10,000 which contributed to the site work, equipment and mulch. The City of Bondurant would like to thank Prairie Meadows for being a big part of getting this project done. Also, thank you to Cross Pointe Church, Boy Scouts Troop 10 and the Bondurant Park and Recreation Committee for providing volunteers that assisted with the installation of the playground.
