On November 8, 2011, an election will be held to fill three positions on the Bondurant City Council. City Council seats currently held by Curt Sullivan and Eric Boatwright are expiring December 31 and will be filled at this election. Council member Mike Adams, Sr., resigned his Council position in June. The Council appointed Mr. Eric E. Johnson to fill this vacated position at the August 15 City Council meeting and Mr. Johnson will serve until December 31, 2011. The position filled by Mr. Johnson will be one of the Council seats involved in the November 8 election. 

 

The City received five Affadavit's of Candidacy papers for City Council seats.  The candidates that will be on the ballot for the November 8 election are Michele Bailey, Eric Johnson, Brian Lohse, Clayton Sprague and Curt Sullivan.  The term for City Council Members elected at the November 8 election begins January 1, 2012, and ends December 31, 2015.
