| Info Nation | User-friendly interface to data collected
by the United Nations Statistics Division allows users to search for geographic,
social, demographic and economic indicators for your choice of up to seven
of 185 countries and four of 37 variables. Data is limited to the most
current year. |
| International Data Base | The IDB was created in the Census
Bureau's International Programs Center to provide demographic and socioeconomic
statistics for all countries of the world. The interactive interface allows
users to select one of 26 demographic, ethnic, and economic variables
and any or all countries of the world and receive a table for that variable
for the latest year, selected individual years as far as 1950 and as far
ahead as 2050, or for a range of years. |

census available here includes summary tables focusing on age, sex, households,
families, and occupied housing units; general demographic profiles; and
redistricting data for state legislature redistricting and congressional
apportionment. There is also a schedule of release dates for additional
data, a directory of regional and local sources for Census 2000, lesson
plans and other material for classrooms use, and information on how the
census is taken. |
