Prairie Meadows Donates $15,000 to Bondurant Emergency Services

Bondurant, July 24th, 2018 --

Prairie Meadows recently awarded Bondurant Emergency Services a Community Betterment Grant totaling $15,000. The grant will help fund the Rapid Response Ultra High-Pressure unit. Prairie Meadows is a nonprofit business dedicated to lessening the burden of government by promoting economic development, jobs, agriculture, and tourism in the state of Iowa.

“Bondurant Emergency Services is grateful for Prairie Meadows spirit of giving. Through the giving programs that Prairie Meadows provides, countless citizens and organizations within our community and those around us will be impacted by the benefits of this program. With this current funding, we will be able to increase our effectiveness in protecting lives and property,” said Aaron Kreuder, Bondurant Emergency Services’ Fire Chief.

The Community Betterment Grant will improve the lives of people in Central Iowa by enabling Bondurant Emergency Services to complete the Rapid Response Ultra High-Pressure unit. The $15,000 grant will allow Bondurant Emergency Services to add an additional Rapid Response Ultra High-Pressure unit to the fleet. With this technology, we are able to provide a faster and more efficient response to fire calls. Along with efficiency comes lowered risk to the firefighters. The expected completion date for this project will be August 2018.

“At Prairie Meadows, we are dedicated to transforming the lives of those living in Central Iowa. We are proud and excited to support this and many other projects in our community,” said Julie Stewart, Prairie Meadows’ Director of Community Relations.
