PARK & RECREATION BOARD MEETING

AUGUST 16, 2007 5:00 P.M.

Josh Duden was declared Chairman of the Board by unanimous consent and called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.

Motion by Meislahn, second by Kinney to approve the agenda. Motion passed.

The group next discussed equipment to be purchased for Mallard Pointe Park. Following the discussion the group agreed to order two tables and three benches from Summit Supply of Durango, Colorado. Estimated cost for this equipment is $3,000. The group also discussed the type of playground equipment that should be purchased. They tentatively settled on a modular equipment set offered by Playworld. They also agreed to research other vendors and discuss this issue further at the September meeting.

A request for two agenda items, fundraising and adult recreation leagues, was made for the next meeting.
