A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Bondurant, Polk County, Iowa, was held in the Community Room at the Bondurant City Center on the 26th day of June, 2006, at 6:00 p.m.

Notice of the meeting was posted at the Bondurant City Center, Mobil Food Market, Casey’s General Store, and Legacy Bank on June 23, 2006. All proceedings hereafter shown were taken while the convened meeting was open to the public.
Mayor McCoid called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Roll call was taken and a quorum was declared.
Motion made by Council Member Cordes, seconded by Council Member Ryan, to approve the agenda, as presented.

Motion made by Council Member Kromrie, seconded by Council Member Ryan, to approve Resolution No. 06-91, a Resolution granting permission to the City of Bondurant RAGBRAI Committee to close 2nd Street, Northeast, from the Post Office to Grant Street, North and Main Street, Northeast, from 2nd Street, Northeast, to the first gravel drive south, on July 26, 2006, from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Roll Call: Kromrie-Yes, Ryan-Yes, Adams-Yes, Bailey-Yes, Cordes-Yes. Motion carried.

Motion made by Council Member Cordes, seconded by Council Member Bailey, to approve Resolution No. 06-99, a Resolution approving a proposal from Stanley Consultants, Inc., to design a Multi-Use Trail from Paine Heights to Grant Street, North, as amended. Roll Call: Cordes-Yes, Bailey-Yes, Adams-No, Kromrie-Yes, Ryan-Yes. Motion carried.
