A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Bondurant, Polk County, Iowa, was held in the Community Room at the Bondurant
City Center on the 17th day of January, 2005, at 6:00 p.m.

Notice of the meeting was posted at the Bondurant City Center, Ampride Store, Casey’s General Store, and Legacy Bank on January 14, 2005. All proceedings hereafter shown were taken while the convened meeting was open to the public.
Mayor Ihde called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. Roll call was taken and a quorum was declared.
Motion made by Council Member Cordes, seconded by Council
Member Valentine, to approve the agenda, as presented. Roll

11, 2005, Bondurant Community Library Board Minutes of December 02, 2004, Polk

Library Board President Susan J. Ugulini introduced Library
Director Karen Burkett-Sandoval, who gave an overview of FY 2004, activities of
the Bondurant Community Library. The
overview included: Programming; Inter Library Loans; Circulation and Library
Visits; Rural Usage; Library Hours; Electronic Usage Reference; Collection;
Registered Borrowers; Volunteers; Future Goals and Photographs.

Motion made by Council Member Cordes, seconded by Council
Member Schiermeister, to approve Resolution No. 05-07, a Resolution authorizing
and directing the Mayor to execute the Revised 28E Agreement - Members of the
Polk County Emergency Management Commission for Funding of Emergency Management
Administration, on behalf of the City of Bondurant, Polk County, Iowa. Roll Call:
Cordes-Yes, Schiermeister-Yes, Bailey-Yes, Kromrie-Yes,
Valentine-Yes. Motion carried.
Motion made by Council Member Bailey, seconded by Council Member Cordes, to approve Resolution No. 05-08, a Resolution adjusting the service charge for returned checks and direct pays. Roll Call: Bailey-Yes, Cordes-Yes, Schiermeister-Yes, Kromrie-Yes, Valentine-Yes. Motion carried.
