Member Cordes, to approve the consent items consisting of the City Council
Minutes of January 06, 2003, Metro Waste Authority Minutes of December 18,
2002, Des Moines Area MPO Minutes of December 19, 2002, the Claims Report and
Financial Reports and Tax Abatement Application for Kenneth L. McConnell, 503 –
Second Street, Southeast, Bondurant, Polk County, Iowa. Roll Call: Valentine-Yes, Cordes-Yes,
Williams-Yes, Thomas-Yes. Motion
carried.

was present.
Library Board President Susan Ugulini
introduced Library Director Karen Burkett-Sandoval, who gave an overview of the
past six months activities of the Bondurant Community Library. The overview included Expanded Hours, a New
Computer System, Ebsco Database, Children’s
Programming, Interlibrary Loans, Additional Shelving, Library Staff,
Surveys/Community Study, Volunteer Efforts of the Friends of the Library Group,
Policies, Accreditation, Patron Comments, Photos and Steps for the Future.

Member Williams, to waive the first and second reading of Ordinance No. 03-200,
an Ordinance amending the Code of Ordinances of the City of

Member Valentine, to waive the first and second reading of Ordinance No. 03-201,
an Ordinance amending the Code of Ordinances of the City of
